I added 4 new comics today. Even though, I'm pretty happy to add a character back as a zombie because zombies are just awesome I really like the tinman reference the best. I can't wait for Ironman 2 and read the Ultimate Ironman comics. Since I spend a lot of time practicing Spanish and increasing my vocabulary and trying to get more advanced I talk to a lot of Mexican women and learn how to talk like a native a-hole. Anyways, it's pretty common for older men around 19 to date 14 year old women in Mexico. That's pretty common for most South American countries and the United States has a real high age of consent. I was surprised to find out that England and Canada was 16. Even Texas is 17 but who in the hell would want to go to Texas?

I added two new comics and two new stories today. I'm surprised after returning from my vacation I noticed that there are several ratings to my stories. It's kinda cool to see that people are being interactive with my site. Recently, I've added a sister site to this site in Spanish. Over the past couple years I've been stuyding Spanish and I was just in Mexico City for a month to practice and improve. I also got this program Rosetta Stone so I should be fluent soon even though I understand spoken Spanish pretty well. I'm having a little trouble with subjunctive and grammar though. Learning Spanish is a great way to meet hot Mexican chicks so it's really starting to pay off. Anyways, the site is es.divinecomics.com so if you speak Spanish or are curious check it out. So I'm taking a philosophy of arts class and at first I thought the class was useless because I've read a lot of philosophy including Thoreau, Nietzsche, Emerson, Aristotle, Ayn Rand, and George Carlin. However, the class gave me insight into my own work. Sometimes I draw comics subconsciously or write stories subconsciously and don't realize it until after I've published them online. I think I might be able to improve drawing, storyline, and writing if I don't include so many personal vendettas in my work. No new updates currently.

Well I added 5 new comics today. On the most recent comic I drew I think I've done the best landscaping artwork that I've drawn in years. Also, total I've drawn over 200 comics which means I met my goal of drawing 200 comics by the end of the year and I have passed this goal. Also, I've edited the way dates are displayed in the guestbook and the news section. This is important because the date is displayed differently in other English speaking countries so it can be confusing. Hope you enjoy!

I added a new article in the stories section. It's pretty ridiculous and I was beating up myself for even posting it because it's embarrassing, silly, and over-the-top. Compared to the rest of the stuff though it is on par and besides that it doesn't contain profanity (after I edited it). I saw a book on Nostradamus' "predictions" about the future at the library and I finally understood Dave Chappelle's skit about Negrodamus. I put the book in the child's section though because I doubt there is any validity to any of his theories. The article was really a brainstorming session by me, but I figured if I pumped in as much junk into this site why not add this. Some people might like it and I'm updating my site so I might jump in google rank. I have some comics that are already inked and will be coming soon.

I added an animation section to the web site for a place to put flash movies. Currently, I have one very old flash movie dated about 2002, but I'd like to make some more and have had an idea for one for about a year now. Like an idiot though I invested a bunch of money into Adobe Photoshop CS4 as a program to edit my images. I don't want to download Flash illegally because that kind of stuff can come back and bite me in the ass, but there are trial versions I can use to create a movie. I think I could just download the trial version and when it expires uninstall it and download it again for another 30 days. I'd much rather work on an animation clip than write another story or draw another comic. It would be more fun plus in animation clips there is sound, images, music and so much more than what I could do with a comic or story.

New comics!! I added five new comics today. I'm not sure if it's all the weed I've smoked, but I was having really bad like hallucinations during the time I drew these comics. I thought that the government or police were going to come after me and arrest me for all the pirated works I've downloaded on the internet. Fortunately, that is rare, but the rare arrests influenced me to throw away every illegal piece of music, movie, porno, video game, and software that I've owned and motivated me to buy most of it legally. Congratulations law enforcement. You win! Now that all that is behind me I regret throwing away all my porn :(. I have a slow-speed internet so I can't wait until I upgrade to high-speed!

I found an old Flash file that I made during high school for one of my programming classes. I got an A on the assignment, but I can still see a lot of errors. I uploaded the original version that still has a bunch of errors. It took a lot of work to make, but I'm proud of it and it makes me want to design another animation clip. I almost didn't create a Halloween based comic, but I was obligated to and I thought it was fun. At the time of the drawing I was pretty scared of psychiatry and just plain psychiatrists in general so if a someone dressed up as a therapist at my door then I would have been spooked. Secondly, the story with Patrick and Frank is continued. Finally, I saw a video on youtube called "What Should Have Happened" about Batman being helpless in a crime fighting situation and Superman his superior. Batman has had a pretty dark life for the past 30 years in the comic book and movie world, but it was Batman who designed and created all those neat gadgets and toys which requires a large amount of knowledge about engineering, computer science, math, physics, and mechanics. Superman, being the patriot that he is, was highly gifted with almost invincible powers but having these gifts spoiled him so it wasn't necessary to learn about all t (read more)

New story added today. It's the top story in the stories section. I have been trying to find a good fantasy book to read and then parody on this site. I've already read Lord of the Rings and Dark Tower series. I didn't want to start Wheel of Time because it's too big and I read some reviews and most people regret reading it. I found a short 200 page book in my library bookstore that I purchased. I read through it on Sunday afternoon, then checked the review on amazon.com and apparently it's intended for children 9-12. I still reviewed it (and poorly). However, I did eventually find some good ideas to make fun of fantasy. The genre is so lame it pretty makes fun of itself just being, but I'll give it a boost. Also, I submitted a short story (not on this site) to a local comic bookstore for a contest and it was published in their catalog. If it wins I'll post it on this site with a note.

New comics! I added 6 new comics today. Unlike other web sites, I've realized, there isn't a specific day to check for updates and I don't ever plan to make a specific day. I draw comics of my own free will and post them at my convenience. I always announce when I've posted them on the news section and I e-mail people on my mailing list. Anyways, I'm proud of them and I think I'll be able to have over 200 comics by the new year. Right now there is 187. On a separate note, I saw Woody Allen's "Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About Sex, But Were Afraid To Ask." I thought the movie was great and my favorite part was where Gene Wilder was having an affair with the sheep. I've wanted to get a sheep blowup doll for awhile now. Anyways, I want to get back to practicing on the keyboard. I just purchased an easy piano songbook and want to practice. Hasta luego.

I added a new short story today. I've been doing research on self-publishing because I'm interested in publishing a book of the short stories I've written and the comics I've drawn. I borrowed a book from the library on the subject and read a few internet articles. I'd like to buy about 100 copies from a printer or manufacturer and sell them in an online store. If I buy an ISBN I could sell them through Amazon if they sell decently through this web site. I don't expect to make huge profits, but even if I sold them to just family and friends I'd be proud to say I wrote a book. It is fairly expensive though...

I changed the rating system in the stories section. I thought adding the rating right underneath the title of the story looked very sloppy so I removed that and put it under the title of the story so it's viewable when you read the story. You can still rate my stories and I encourage it. So far no one has rated any stories. I've had the script up for about 3 weeks. Please rate them when you read them! Thanks.

I added four new comics to the site today. When I drew these comics I wanted to try something a little different. I added more than one idea to a single comic. Usually I will draw one panel for each idea or two panels if it takes more than one panel to explain it. This way saves paper and is good for the environment. Actually, I don't really care too much about the environment, but it still saves me paper and I can put 2 or 3 jokes in one image file. That means twice the comics. Yay I bet your so excited. I wonder if my sarcasm is detectable through this update. Anyways, enjoy the comics.

I added six new comics today. I hope that one of my comics isn't too late. Richard Dawkins fame has pretty much diminished, but sometimes when you draw a comic right after an event has made headlines people force themselves not to laugh because it is too predictable and they feel like they could have drawn the comic themselves. I wonder if any other comic artist has made a joke about Farhenheit 451. Nonetheless, these comics are probably the greatest gift to humanity.

One new comic and one new story. The comic is more artsy than funny, but I don't mind adding a few artsy comics every once in awhile to the site. Awkwardly, the parody I wrote about Family Feud was based off a real episode I watched of the feud, except the top answer wasn't Hooters. Although Hooters was in the answers the top answer was San Francisco. This will make any homophobe shiver.

I added a rating system to the stories section of the site so now every single story on the site can be rated. Most of the scripts on this site are borrowed from other PHP authors, but I spent most of yesterday afternoon writing this one myself. I thought it was pretty fun to do and I haven't programmed this much since I created Snakes for a gaming class last semester. I also noticed that a lot of my code is invalid according to W3C standards. It's hard to get 100% valid with these stupid ads that keep messing up my validation. I corrected some of the errors, but there are still about 7 on the homepage that I couldn't correct. This isn't my hugest priority, but something I'd like to correct in the future. Anyways, I hope you enjoy the rating system. Be fair!

I was looking at the web statistics for my site today and there was a large peak in visits during May, June, and July, and then a huge drop in August. I don't know why there was a huge peak in visits during May through July that was over 1,000 visits a day and sometimes during June and July came close to 1,500 visits per day. I closed down the forums in April so I'm not sure what the cause is, but I do like that people are viewing my site and I've been going to linkreferral.com almost everyday to try and get visits/day up. I used to use digg.com, but it didn't work very well for me. I also post updates through my mailing list and on every social networking site I'm a member of. During the month of August the visits/day dropped down to an average of 130 which was pretty normal before the peak, but also during that month I was not updating the site very often. I have also traded links with a lot of lens companies and put my url in their search engines so hopefully that will get me more (read more)

Added four new comics today. I was just checking how many comics I've drawn and I've been able to put over 170 fully colored comics on to the web site. I'll be happy once I've drawn over 200. That's going to be a celebration mark for me. I still have both story and comic ideas so I'll definitely be excited to get them up here.

Someone made a negative review about my web site. It was as follows "If a picture really is worth a thousand words, he's only giving us about a hundred." After digging up a little history of the reviewer I found out that he/she is an avid superhero comicbook collector. I never labelled my site as artwork, but more as a place for funny comics. Someone who has devoted their life to collecting superhero comics has no right to complain about artwork lacking in intellectual depth.

NEW COMICS!! Three new comics and one new story. I've been beating myself up for writing this story because I make fun of remedial students. That's kind of a new low for me, but not really considering many of the other far more shameful stories that I've made. I wrote this story because one person in particular thought that my Condom Bandits story was "disgusting." He obviously hasn't read any of my other stories. Anyways, I felt obligated to write a story that didn't have any profanity or sexual jokes so here it is. I combined a few shorter ideas I had and made a slightly longer story. None of my stories span more than about 10 pages in a notebook and I think my Condom Bandits story is probably the longest story I have ever written. As always I hope you enjoy the new comics and the new stories.

My only complaint is that it was so incredibly easy to make fun of Sherlock Holmes. However, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle created some very interesting tales and they were worth reading, even if my only intention was to mock them.

New!!! I've added three new comics to my web site today. Boy I tell you what sometimes I think I'll never use this web site again and then a bored Sunday comes along and I draw 3 comics in one day. I figure I could sell some knives, read a book about the universe, talk online to perverts, or make my web site so much more awesome!! I also have a really clever idea for a story. I'm doing a parody of Sherlock Holmes and picked up an old book that has him in there. The first chapter describes Sherlock as snorting coke. What a vivid character!

I added two new stories in the stories section. They are really more of random thoughts than stories but they fit in the story category the best. Also, the site has been continued. The team of me and my multiple personalities decided to keep the site up since this site is my joy and passion. It will be up for at least another year and by next July I will be deciding whether or not to continue it again. Here's a few tips to get the most laughs out of this site. Explore as much culture as you can. Eat out, watch movies, read books, read magazines, watch porn, watch T.V., read comic books, date, party with your friends, listen to music, buy products, take up new hobbies, exercise, exercise your mind by playing su do ku or doing word jumbles, play video games, have sex, get massages, and stay healthy. I've put up 6 new comics and one new story on the web site. I've also changed the site around a little bit. I indented all the stories and created larger margins so that they are easier to read. Finally, I disabled text based in-line ads on the web site so that words aren't hyperlinked on the web site. This was annoying on the home page and it ruined the stories so I was glad to rid this problem. Two of the comics I posted are outside of the series that I'm drawing. The first one is monogon, a line, because in geometry that's what a one sided polygon would be. It's consistent with Greek. I also added a "running nose" comic. I like the more artistic comics where you have to guess what is going on rather than me giving away the joke immediately. I hope you enjoy. I've drawn a couple more and they should be up soon.

Discovered three lost comics!! I was searching for a specific comic on my web site and couldn't find it so I had to go through my personal backup I had on cd-r/rw and I found not only that comic, but two others. I have added them up on the web site and they will show up as the latest 3 comics when you click the comics link. I have also written a couple more short stories. I hope no one misinterprets one of the short stories I wrote as plain racism because that would just be silly. That's all for now. (read more)

One new comic and 2 new stories added. I finished off the last of my drawing paper today so I am going to be pausing drawing comics and putting up stories even more (despite being full of ideas). I am just really heavily tolled by school and stresses from family life. Drawing and writing is a good stress reliever though so I could be back here by tomorrow with a new story. Three new comics!! I drew these comics over the weekend, but my internet has been down all week and I didn't have any access to FTP so that is what took so long to post them up. I surprisingly have more ideas still coming in so there will be more comics. As for the stories if that is something you are interested in you are just going to have to wait for me to come up with some great content. The comics section of this site has been down a large part of today because I was redesigning it to make it more aesthetically pleasing. Now when you click on the comics section you will immediately go to the latest comic I've drawn and you have 5 options at the bottom of the comic. You can navigate to the previous comic, the next comic, the first comic drawn, and the latest comic drawn. I've been looking at a lot of other comic web sites and this is what everyone is doing. Not only is it much easier to navigate this way than by the year of which I drew the comic, but it looks a lot better and more clean. The only problem with this is now in my archives every single link is going to broken. :/

One new story and two new comics. I jotted down the story in my Anthropology class one evening and thought the idea was pretty clever at the time. After typing it up, editing it, and correcting errors I'm sick of it though. I enjoy drawing comics much more than writing stories. The characters are much more alive in comics and they are fun and eccentric. You have more freedom in comics and by using visual aids the audience is able to understand your point clearer unless you have a strong use of the English language. Sounds like a project for me in the future - to make a witty and humorous story painted by semantics.

Three new comics added to my site. Not only that, but these comics are important because they are the new cast members to my ongoing series (of a comic series about nothing). Also, if you click on the comics section you will see 7 comics in the NEW section and that is because from now on I'm just labelling a comic as new if it has been drawn in the last month. The link goes to the first comic in the comics section, but the newest comic is number 5. So just navigate to #5 by clicking next or if you understand how web sites work just enter "5" where display=. This is easier for me to so I'm not swapping comics in and out of different directories and also the comics are still new I just happen to draw a lot of comics so I'm always shuffling them in and out. NEW COMICS! Four new comics have been added as of this week. I also added a story, which can be accessed from the very top link in the stories section. I added a little cartoon to go along with the story. Next, I will have drawn cast members to be main characters in my comics. I'll still have random strangers interact with them, but they will be the general focus and highlight throughout the comics. Hopefully they will be funny.

Two new comics have been added this evening. One I drew of a buddy who lives up in Mendocino. I threw in a few inside jokes that you might find funny if you went up there on a surf trip, or if you know Mr. Neira. I've also decided to cast a few regular characters into a series instead of drawing random, new, and strange characters for each comic. I'll be interviewing cartoon characters for the part so if you know of any cartoon characters that need some exposure and work drop me a line. Until then peace out ;)

There's a new search utility on the comics page so that you can now enter the number of the comic and jump right to it, instead of clicking through all the links and pushing the next or previous buttons. This means you can get to the comic much faster. Soon I'll add the number of the comic on the title bar so that you will know which comic # you are looking at. Currently there are 113 comics total.

NEW COMICS! I've had a lot of extra free time so I added a bunch of new comics. Eleven in total. I commented on a few of them also. I like the idea of commenting on my work so I will probably do it a bunch more in the future. One thing about my new update to note is the last one I made in 2008 (#20). An artist included me in his comic strip so that comic is my rebuttal for him. I enjoyed drawing that comic and will probably draw a few more of people that I know. I can often be a huge dick so it will be a challenge for me to draw something worthwhile of someone else, something I haven't done since 2003 (excluding famous people). I've got a few more ideas written down so you can expect more comics to be posted soon.

This Thursday, August 7th, I'll be going to Mexico for four days so there won't be any site updates. There is some good news though as far as comics. I will be taking a drawing class from Disney Italy to beef up my drawing skills. You can expect better drawings from now on since I am paying for five hours of lessons. I also have several fresh, original ideas of some comics that will be posted up by the end of August. So take care and check back for updates. Two new comics added today and two stories have been added since the last update after the fourth of July. Also, the site has been updated a bit thanks to a Google Adsense guru who gave me heaps of advice to attract more viewers and hopefully increase revenue. Should be better for the both of everyone. You get better content and I get money to pay for hosting the sites. Makes sense to me. San Diego Comic Con July 24-27. I am going to e-mail a few local publishers and try to get some comics published in the local paper. I live near Orange County, California for those that don't know. Personally, I'm not scared of of people over the internet. In real life though?

Four new comics posted today as well as four new stories. One of the latest comics is about the new Indiana Jones movie, which was in my opinion way too far fetched. I don't believe an old man could do all those stunts, besides, I don't want to spoil the movie, but seriously some of those scenes were just ridiculous. A kid swinging on vines like Tarzan caught up with a car going about 50 MPH. Please! The others I got when I was walking my dog. I strongly recommend reading the Angry Teacher and News Flash stories. Both are relatively short and kind of clever. I hope you enjoy them all. Have a good summer!

On top of that I added a new character to the site. Thygwee the duck may have been quick but Phat Cat was a higher degree in Kung Fu and hence made Thygwee dinner. Personal comments on spam: not only is spam an annoying disturbance to anyone's web site it is grueling and time consuming to go through html code and deleting it. Site hasn't been updated in a long time because I've been so busy with work. I just sold the virgincomics.com domain name for $3000. But I'm not selling the site, or the comics. Just offered a terrific deal and had to jump on it. The new domain is divinecomics.com. "And God said let there be comics..."

Alright, people keep complaining that they can't remember the domain name so I decided to change it to something more memorable. VirginComics.com-- now the demographic is college males and illiterate women who like pretty pink colors. You could say the site became deflowered once I added content to it.

Welcome to thygwee.com. Today is the first day that thygwee.com has been online. I'm not going to say much because I have no audience. I haven't submitted the site to any search engines and word of mouth will spread the word no sooner than my death. But to those of you who know me and are wasting your time by reading this degrading stuff, thank you. Please enjoy the site, I'll update it weekly, or at least do my best to find something moderately humorous to put up. Tell you what if I don't get any material I'll just post my autobiography and you can laugh at that. And remember what Jimmy Buffet said: "if we couldn't laugh, we would all go insane."
