Two days ago I mentioned that honestly this is not the riches-generating venue that I had mistakenly thought would be so easy to create many years ago. That unfortunately to create income would mean I would need to update the site regularly with hilarious content, advertise heavily, draw in a big audience, and get them to purchase things which mean I might have to hire a few employees, get a business license, and potentially risk going bankrupt trying to make this profitable. However, I don't really have any qualms about dishonesty to make myself feel better. So in all dishonesty this web site actually is a multi-trillion dollar Fortune 500 corporation that is the backbone of the entire country, deeply rooted in politics and thousands of employees across 15 different countries rely upon a paycheck from us every month. The direction of the future of civilization is on our shoulders, our opinions sometimes even more important than elected officials chosen to represent the public. Ru (read more)

So I noticed that occasionally wikipedia uses different file extensions for the images on their web site. I think it's CCD or something, which somehow the browsers can interpret as images. I thought they overhauled their site and changed all the image extensions to prevent people from stealing the images, but checking back today there's a lot of images that remain JPEG. The good thing about wikipedia is many images aren't copyrighted so I can just edit them instead of using a library that the image creator charges for, or drawing a new image from scratch. Since, honestly, this web site isn't a cash-making machine and more of a hobby than a side business any way I can save time or effort is magnificent.

I've added two new comics recently. One about credit cards and the other about a puzzle. I'm also trying to get my comic up on comiXology app so popularly used for comic books and graphic novels.

I've gone ahead and added a couple new options to the poll about favorite cartoons while removing Scooby Doo, Boondock Saints, and Pokemon. Pokemon is largely about animal cruelty and is marketed towards children? I mean it's in the same league as dog fighting and rooster fighting, but hardly anyone criticizes it. I was able to find a few words PETA had to say about the show and they aren't very pleased with it. They also created a few parody videos of the subject matter.

I've added some legal stuff to the in "terms and agreement" linked at the bottom of the page. It basically says that the images and work I created belongs to me, that I don't stuff from public domain such as wikipedia images, and that images or stories I've bought from other people belong to them. It also uses the GNU copyleft legal jargon. I'm not a lawyer so I'm not sure if it makes sense mixing in copyright with copyleft, but I figured I should add some type of legal thing to protect myself.

I think I might make the next comic about entitlement, which would be about something like a spoiled egg or something. Maybe just something gone old, mature and expecting to be the same as it was when young?? Of course people have made comics about Uncle Sam as Santa or sinking from all the social welfare programs. It's too bad we can't just put the trillions in debt in absolute value bars and go from negative to positive, but obviously economics isn't exactly like math.
Here's a link to a funny comic: Uncle Sam tied down

I've uploaded a new comic. #337. There's also a nook (barnes and noble) version of my comic book available in the store.

Apparently, I need to change out the poll. Either Randall Munroe or some of his fanboys have hijacked the poll and upvoted his site to surpass mine. I can't allow that. I saw an article online praising his web site and I almost threw up in my mouth.

There's a new satirical story up about James Bond. Also, I've got a Kindle/ebook version of my first book available now. It's linked in the store. Soon there will be a Nook version. Perhaps later an iPad version if such a version exists.
