Principal Edwards: In lieu of the recent Burger King commercial on TV we thought we would close down our math department just for one day just to see the reactions on people's faces.
Interviewer: What do you think of us closing down math today? Student 1: There's a math department at this school? Interviewer: How do you feel without math? Student 2: Free as a bird. Interviewer: Did you recognize the shutting down of math today? Poindexter: The idea is completely ludicrous. I need to understand these graphs and functions when I become an engineer in the future. I'm going to write a letter to the district about this. Hopefully he will be replaced by someone competent. |
